The short version: Fluffington has no user accounts. The photo you pick is sent through our server to Google Gemini, turned into a portrait, and returned to your phone. Your gallery stays on your device. We use RevenueCat to operate subscriptions, but we do not show ads or track you across apps or websites.

No accounts

Fluffington does not have user accounts. You never create a profile, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other account information to use the app.

What happens to your photos

To create a portrait, the photo you select is uploaded to Fluffington's server, where it is processed by Google's Gemini image model to generate your portrait. The finished portrait is returned to your device.

Fluffington does not intentionally save the request image or generated response on its own server after the request finishes. Google may retain limited request and response data for abuse and safety monitoring under the terms that apply to our paid Gemini API project. Google states that paid Gemini API content is not used to improve its products.

Your portraits and portrait history are stored only on your device. If you delete the app, they go with it — so save the ones you love to your photo library first.

No ads or behavioral tracking

The app contains no advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

The Fluffington website uses our self-hosted, cookie-free Umami analytics to measure aggregate visits, page views, referral sources, and interactions with major buttons. We do not use this information to identify you or follow you across websites.

Payments

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Fluffington never sees your payment-card details. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and purchase history so we can verify access, restore purchases, and understand subscription performance. This information is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your App Store subscription settings.

Retention and deletion

Your in-app gallery and preferences stay on your device until you delete them or reset the app. Subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to provide and account for purchases.
